Mikshun Galina

Actress

In 1960 Galina Grigorievna Mikshun graduated from the graduated from Mikhail Shchepkin Higher Theatre School (the course of V.I.Tsygankov) and joined the Maly Theatre’s company.

On the oldest drama stage, the actress embodied many diverse roles of Russian and foreign, classical and modern repertoire. In the characters created by Galina Grigorievna, one can feel the scope of her talent, sense of humour and subtle artistic taste. She is romantically-minded, emotionally elevated as well as full of ardour and stage charm.

Mikshun appeared in many films and on television. She starred in the film plays of the Maly Theatre «Before Sunset», «Confession», «Mamouret», «Summer Walks», «Enough Stupidity in Every Wise Man» and others, and also appeared in the films «The Daughter of the Commander» and «The Long Farewell».

By Decree No. 1434 of 25.10.1999 Mikshun was awarded the Medal of the Order, II degree. By Decree No. 1434 of 14.11.2005 she was awarded the Order of Friendship.
