CONGRATULATIONS WITH A PREMIERE

On March 10 Make Way for Tomorrow by Viña Delmar was premiered in the Maly Theatre on the Ordynka stage. The production was renamed into The Rest is Silence, a famous production of the Mossovet Theatre of 1969, staged by Anatoliy Efros and starring Faina Ranevskaya and Rostislav Plyatt.

The production team worked under the direction of People’s Artist of the USSR Yuri Solomin. The performance was timed to coincied with the 80th anniversary of the People’s Artist of Russia Lyudmila Polyakova, who plays the role of Lucy Cooper.
