THE OSTROVSKY FESTIVAL CONTINUES

"Ostrovsky in the House of Ostrovsky." The Maly Theatre's festival dedicated to the 195th anniversary since the birth of "Russia's Shakespeare" continues.

In the festival's program are performances presented by theatres from various cities across Russia. This year, foreign theatre collectives are taking part in the festival for the first time. Its take on a play "A Profitable Position" was presented by the Yugoslav Drama Theatre (Belgrade, Serbia). The Riga Mikhail Chekhov Russian Theatre will close the festival on May 17 with "It's Not All Shrovetide For The Cat".

The guest of our studio of Russia-K channel is Deputy Artistic Director of the Maly Theatre Olga Galakhova.
