Who are the people of the Great Age? Those, who have already perished from the modern world, from contemporary art? Those, who can hardly be described as «ordinary»? The Great Artists of the past. After all, they lived, loved and suffered, and were tempted in rather extraordinary ways. This is a story of a theatrical family, faced with cruelty of the modern times. It explores the characters of the epoch, when «The Sacred Monsters» were still among us.
