We inform you that starting from January 13th, the theatre’s box office, located on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, 3 is closed. Tickets may be purchased at the Box Offices located at Main Stage, Teatralniy Proezd,1 or alternatively at Ordynka stage, Bolshaya Ordynka, 69.
On December 19th, Maly Theatre has finally raised its curtain at the renovated main stage, for the first time in two years. According to tradition, it reopened with Alexander Griboyedov's play “Woe from Wit” staged by Sergei Zhenovach, the production which is on since 2000.
From November 24th to December 2nd Maxim Gorky Rostov Academic Drama Theatre hosted a unique project – the international theatre masterclasses for young European stage directors and set designers and Russian actors.
Last spring, in 2016, Maly Theatre got a new production and warehouse complex in Nagatino. There was a special video report about the opening not while ago. Renovation of the Maly Theatre’s historic main stage is coming to an end. Just have a little patience and soon the beloved theatre will finally open its doors to the public. All of us - the audience and the theatre staff - cannot wait till the renovation is over!
