A.V. SUKHOVO-KOBYLIN’S ANNIVERSARY
September 29 marks 200 years since the birth of the great Russian playwright Alexander Vasilyevich Sukhovo-Kobylin (1817 - 1903). His satirical plays, notably «Krechinsky's Wedding», always enjoyed the success within the audience of the Maly Theatre. Today we would like to share with you two productions of this play – the first one was staged by Leonid Kheifets in 1971 and the second one was directed in 1997 by Vitaliy Solomin.
