Who among us doesn’t know Andersen’s classic tale of adventure, friendship and bravery? This famous story follows young Gerda as she sets off all alone in search for her friend Kai who has been captured by the Snow Queen and spirited away to her kingdom of ice. The Snow Queen is a mesmerizing tale of self-sacrifice, selfless love, loyalty and courage. Maly Theatre’s magical adaptation of the classic tale is suited for the whole family and it is one of the most beloved children’s winter shows in Moscow.
