Alexander Yuryevich Beliy, an actor of drama, was born on May 5, 1966. In 1987 he graduated from the Mikhail Shchepkin Higher Theatre School (course of Y.M. Solomin) and in 1988 joined the company of the Maly State Academic Theatre of Russia.

From the veryfirst years of work on one of the oldest drama stages, the young artist played a number of central characters from Russian and foreign classics. Alexander has portrayed romantic and lyrical heroes. He is always very truthful and convincing in the images he creates.

Alexander starred in such films as «The horror novel», «Jonik», «Cool Games», «The Precipice», «Seryozha, the Frenchman», «Star Love», and in the series «More Important Than Love», «Crom», «Savva» , «The Fog is Clearing Away», «Volkov’s hour-3», etc.

Alexander Beliy is an acknowledged voice actor. He is considered to be official dubbing artist for Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino, Paul Newman, Kirk Douglas, Clint Eastwood, John Gielgud, Robert De Niro, Marlon Brando, Dustin Hoffman, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Walken, George Clooney, Danny De Vito, Mickey Rourke, Leonardo DiCaprio, Pierce Brosnan, Mel Gibson, Jean Gaben, Philippe Noiret, Alain Delon, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Lino Ventura, Daniel Olbrychski, as well as Mikhail Chekhov and many others.
